After impressing audiences with their acapella singing, les mis flyersmcrptheir powerful, emotional performances and their all round amazing ensemble-ness, Youth Theatre are setting up the barricade once again in a bigger space.   • Children’s Musical in a Week at Easter

  • Adult Auditions for My Fair Lady

  • Lantern Community Choir Concert

    The Lantern Community Choir proudly presents a concert at 8pm on Tuesday 1st December in the Studio Theatre.  LCC for website smallWhilst members of the choir formed a fabulous off-stage choir for our production of Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat in July this is the choir’s first concert.  Join them for an evening of harmonious music, through a variety of styles and with a hint of Christmas thrown in.  The choir will be also singing at the Raynes Park Christmas Festival on the station stage at 6.30pm on Friday 4th December.

    We are planning to redevelop the coffee shop as part of our plans to redevelop the building, in collaboration with Doxa Deo, Share Jesus International and Raynes Park Methodist Church.   • Sponsor Tricia walking for LAC


    Go to https://my.give.net/lanternarts to sponsor Tricia as she walks the 100 miles or so on the West Highland Way from Milngavie (just outside Glasgow) to Fort William, with a jaunt up Ben Nevis to end the walk from Monday 22nd to Saturday 27th June with 2 work colleagues hoping to average 20 miles  a day.
    Tricia is trying to raise £500 for new staging for the Lantern Arts Centre where she is the Fundraising Trustee. The only Christian Arts Centre in the South of England, LAC aims to be as inclusive as possible in its artisic activities and through its Christian ethos with love, friendship and compassion it is building relationships within the community. The Lantern Arts Centre is a charity with no Government or public funding it depends solely on fundraising and donations made by its supporters. Please help Tricia to raise these much needed funds by sponsoring Tricia’s walk.   • First Act Term starts

    Our 10 week term starts on Tuesday 9th May at 7.30pm.  Each session is 2hrs long and full of games, exercises and scripted work in a warm, fun and safe environment.  There is also usually cake or at least decent biscuits….
    The fees (payable in advance) are £100 for the 11 sessions (Ten 2hr Tuesday sessions).
  • Lantern Theatre Company at New Wimbledon Studio


    LTC are proud to be performing “Key Witness” at the New Wimbledon Studio at 2:45 & 7:45 on Saturday 4th April as part of the Illuminate festival. Do book your tickets now and support us. It is an Easter experience for all ages. There is comedy, drama and engaging story-telling. It is fast moving and packed with stories! Malcolm, Nick, Angela and Susie would love to see you there!

    Thanks for all who supported the Summer Ball. It was a brilliant evening with great music, a lovely buffet, amazing cake, a fun auction with Tim Vine and lots of wonderful company. Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make it such an event!

  • Children’s Theatre Summer School


     14th-18th August 10am to 12 with a show on Friday at 11am. £75 per child. Five mornings to create our own play, make scenery, learn songs, play games, possibly shoot videos and then entertain friends and family on the final morning. A gentle, relaxed start with plenty of opportunity to develop creativity and contribute ideas, building to a great performance. Book now as it’s a popular week! Ages 3-10 but working in two age groups.
