Irene Serra is a highly sought after jazz singer based in London. She performs in a huge variety of styles, and has brought her take on classic songs and her own compositions to prestigious venues such as the Barbican Centre (with Wynton Marsalis and the Lincoln Centre Jazz Orchestra), the Royal Albert Hall, Ronnie Scotts, Pizza Express Jazz Club, 606 Jazz Club and the National Theatre. Her original project, ISQ, was also named a Time Out London Critic’s Choice. Although at home in so many styles, Irene’s approach has a natural affinity with the delivery, timing and depth of the great Nancy Wilson, making her perfect for this project.

A leader of his own ensembles - especially his quartet with whom he has released two acclaimed jazz suites ’The Eight Words’ and ’The Infant’ - Tim has collaborated with many wonderful jazz musicians on the UK scene, including Tony Kofi, Polly Gibbons, James Pearson, Scott Hamilton, Tara Minton, and latterly this fruitful and dynamic partnership with Irene. Tim is also a priest and theologian, Chaplain to Girton College at the University of Cambridge, and a pastoral patron of the Lantern Arts Centre, a place close to his heart for many years.
