The Lantern Arts Centre manages two studios which are ideal for rehearsals and small performances, alongside several other larger halls which are also available to hire.
We are now able to offer the Bond Hall for children's parties on Saturday afternoons. Please contact us for further details.

Studio Theatre
This flexible studio is just over 100 square metres of space (7.5m by 14m) and is used for theatre and musical rehearsals with a piano as well as productions housing up to audiences of 100 people.
Ideal for shorter 1 or 2 hour regular slots / classes during the week daytime including dance and keep fit groups.
Cost to hire £27.50/hour.
Rehearsal Studio
A little smaller than the Studio Theatre, this space is 65 square metres (7.5m by 8.5m) and is often used for dance groups and rehearsals.
Ideal for block bookings of several weeks for rehearsals, with very competitive rates available.
Cost to hire £22/hour.

Bond Hall
The Bond Hall is 7.5m by 13.5m (plus 2.8m beyond the pillars). It is used by a variety of dance classes and music groups for adults and children.
This room can be hired on Saturday afternoons for children's parties. Contact us for pricing.
Cost to hire £44/hour. Adjacent kitchen facilities available for hire for £27.50/hour.

Stephenson Room
The Stephenson Room is 13.1m by 6.2m. It is currently used by dance classes, music groups and rehearsals (with a piano), as well as exercise, art and children's classes.
Cost to hire £35/hour.

Sanctuary
The Sanctuary is the main auditorium space at the Lantern Centre. It can be configured in a theatre layout using the stage, with rows of seating or seating around tables, for performances, presentations, meetings or conferences. The central space is 10m x 10m and is used for rehearsals. Each side space is 3m x 8m, and the stage is 7.2m x 3.6m.
Cost to hire £66/hour.
