FREE TO MOVE:
DANCE CLASSES FOR ALL

Mondays 11.30am-12.30pm, Studio Theatre

£7 - No need to book - pay by cash or card on the door

Spring 2026 dates: Jan 12th, 19th, 26th; Feb 2nd, 9th, (no class 16th - half term), 23rd; Mar 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd.

‘If you’ve ever longed to dance but have been discouraged by age, inexperience, confidence or accessibility, then this is the class for you. M is a brilliant teacher!’

Join us for Free to Move: accessible and inclusive dance and movement sessions designed for all abilities and experience levels.

 

These classes provides a welcoming space for individuals to explore movement, improvise, create, and evolve their own unique way of moving.

 

Whether you're drawn to musical theatre, creative movement, or freeform dance, the classes will be guided by the group’s interests, fostering a collaborative and expressive environment.

Accessibility Features:

Run by M Gallego – Founder of M-BODIMENT, Dance Movement Psychotherapist & Instructor

 

M Gallego is the Founder of M-BODIMENT, an inclusive dance space dedicated to movement for well-being, accessibility, and self-expression. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, M holds a Master’s in Dance Movement Psychotherapy and has over a decade of experience in ballroom, Latin, and embodied movement practices. Specializing in neurodiversity, disability, and mental health support, M’s sessions create a welcoming environment where all individuals can connect with their bodies, build confidence, and explore movement as a tool for empowerment and healing.

Accessibility 

The Lantern Arts Centre is accessible by wheelchair-users and people with restricted mobility. A lifts is available to access the Studio Theatre on the first floor, and there is a disabled toilet on the ground floor.
